An 18-month French judicial investigation concluded in 1999 that the crash of Henri Paul, the control of the car at high speed lost while have been worse under the influence of alcohol, made possible by the simultaneous presence of an anti-depressants caused tranqulizing and traces of anti-psychotic in his body.
From February 1998 claimed Dodi's father Mohamed Al-Fayed (the owner of the Hôtel Ritz, where Paul worked), that the crash was a conspiracy, and later claimed that the crash by MI6 in order orchestrated by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh . His claims that the crash was a conspiracy of Paget was a French judicial investigation and the action of a Metropolitan police investigation, the release signed in 2006.

Circumstances of Princess of Wales
On August 30, 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales arrived in Paris with Dodi Fayed, son of Mohamed al-Fayed. She was stopped on his way to London after the preceding nine days together on board Mohamed al-Fayed yacht, the Jonikal, in the French and Italian Riviera. She was planning to stay overnight. Mohamed al-Fayed was and is the owner of the Hotel Ritz in Paris. He also owned an apartment in the Rue Arsene Houssaye, not far away and near the Avenue des Champs Elysees.
Henri Paul, deputy head of security at the Ritz Hotel, has been appointed rented black 1994 Mercedes-Benz S280 drive through Paris to escape the paparazzi. [10] A decoy vehicle left the Ritz first draws a crowd of photographers. Diana and Fayed would then depart from the back of the hotel entrance.
At 12.20 on August 31, 1997, Diana and Fayed left the Ritz back in the Rue Arsene Houssaye in the apartment. They were the rear passengers in a black Mercedes-Benz S280, registration number "688 LTV 75", driven by Paul. Trevor Rees-Jones, a member of the Fayed family, personal protection team was in the passenger seat.
They left out the back of the hotel, which on the Rue Cambon.
After crossing the Place de la Concorde they drove along Cours la Reine and Cours Albert 1er (the embankment road, parallel to the Seine) on the Place de l'Alma tunnel. 00.23 against the clock at the entrance of the tunnel, the driver lost control, the car hit the left in front of the dual carriageway, colliding head-on with the 13th pillars, the roof with an estimated speed of 105 km / h (65 mph ). Turned and came back to the wall of the tunnel, eventually stopping. The impact of the crash caused significant damage, particularly to the front half of the vehicle. It was (and is) no barrier between the pillars to prevent this. Place de l'Alma tunnel is the only one on this street that the bank's roof pillars.
As the victim lay in the wrecked car, the photographers continued to take pictures. Seriously injured Diana was reported repeatedly muttering, "Oh my God," and after the photographers were pushed by forces, "leave me alone. "
Dodi Fayed had been left in the passenger seat and appeared to be dead. Nevertheless, firefighters are still trying to revive him when he was pronounced dead by a doctor at 01.32 hours, Henri Paul was dead upon removal from the wreck said. Both were right on the Medico-legal Institute (IML), the Paris mortuary, not to a hospital. Autopsy determined that Paul and Fayed had both a fracture suffered in the isthmus of the aorta and a broken back, in the case of Paul, a medullar section in the dorsal region and in the case of Fayed a medullar section in the cervical region.
Still conscious, Mr. Rees-Jones suffered multiple severe facial injuries. The two front passengers airbags had functioned normally. None of the occupants had seat belt.
Diana, who was seated on the right rear passenger seat, was still conscious. It was first reported to be on the floor of the vehicle sat with his back to the road. It was also reported that a photographer who Diana described as her bleeding from the nose and ears, saw with his head on the back of the front passenger seat, rested, he tried to remove them from the vehicle, but their feet. When he told her that help was on the road and staying awake, there was no response from Diana, only to blink.
In June 2007, the Channel 4 documentary Diana: The Witnesses in the Tunnel claimed that the first person to touch Diana Dr. Maillez, the scene was arbitrary. He reported that Diana had no visible injuries but was in shock, and he delivers them with oxygen.
The first police patrol officers at the site at 12.30. Shortly after the Seven paparazzi were arrested at the scene. Diana is removed from the car at 1:00 pm She went to a cardiac arrest. At 5:30, her death was announced at a press conference held by a hospital doctor, Jean-Pierre Chevenement, Interior Minister of France, and Sir Michael Jay, the British ambassador to France.
Many have speculated that if Diana had been wearing a seat belt, her injuries would be less significant. The first media reports stated that Trevor Rees-Jones are the only occupant seat belt was worn. These reports proved false, because both the French and British investigations concluded that none of the occupants of the car seat belt at the time of impact.
Later that morning, research, etc., together with French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin, Bernadette Chirac (wife of French President Jacques Chirac) and Bernard Kouchner (French Minister of Health), a visit to the hospital where Diana's body lay and paid the last honor. Subsequent Events Death of Princess Diana
The first media reports stated Diana's car was in the column at 190 km per hour (120 mph) collided, and the speedometer needle was stuck in this position. It was later revealed, the actual vehicle speed at impact was approximately 95 to 110 kilometers per hour (60-70 mph), and the digital speedometer was in violation of the list of available devices and features of the Mercedes- Benz W140 S-Class, to a computer-controlled analog tachometer is used, no digital display for speed. Anyway, the car was safely on the road much faster than the legal speed limit of 50 kmh (31 mph) and faster than was prudent for the Alma tunnel. In 1999 the French study showed a Mercedes was in contact with another vehicle (a white Fiat Uno) are in the tunnel.
Eighteen months of a French judicial investigation concluded in 1999 that the car accident that Diana was slain by Paul, the control of the car at high speed under the influence lost cause.
In October 2003, the Daily Mirror published a letter from Diana in the ten months before her death she wrote about a possible plot to kill her by tampering with the brakes of her car. "This particular phase in my life is the most dangerous." She said: "My husband is planning 'an accident' in my car, brake failure and serious head injury, so the path clear for Charles to marry".
On January 6, 2004, six years after her death, Fayed, an investigation into the deaths of Diana and Dodi in London by Michael Burgess, coroner of the Queen to open in the household. The coroner asked the then Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir John Stevens, to investigate the response to the speculation (see below), that death was no accident. The Metropolitan Police investigation reported their findings in the operation of Paget in December 2006.
Later in 2004, showed U. S. TV network CBS photographs from the crash site shows an intact rear side and an intact central part of the Mercedes, including Diana unbloodied no external injuries, crouched on the rear floor of the vehicle with her back on the right front passenger, rear right car door open fully. The publication of these pictures caused uproar in Britain, where it was generally felt that privacy was violated by Diana, and spurred another lawsuit by Mohammed al-Fayed.
In January 2006, Lord Stevens said in an interview on GMTV that the case is more complicated than previously thought. The Sunday Times reported on January 29, 2006, they were agents of the British Secret Service questioned because they were in Paris at the time of the accident. It was suggested in many magazines, that these funds could have replaced the driver's blood sample with another sample of blood (though no evidence ever for this to appear).
On 13 July 2006 Italian magazine Chi published a photograph of Diana did not appear in their "last moments" despite an unofficial blackout on such photographs. The photo was taken shortly after the crash and let the princess broke in the back seat while a paramedic attempts to fit an oxygen mask over her face. This picture was also published in other Italian and Spanish newspapers and magazines.
The editor of Chi defended his decision by saying that he published the photographs of French research papers for the "simple reason that they had not seen before," he was taken and the images do not disrespect the memory of the former princess .

how can the paps be so sick and still take pics of diana dying in a crashed car? have they no scruples? They couldnt even allow her a little dignity when she was trapped and seriously injured in the car, without showing the world her badly injured face and body. There are times when paps should LEAVE people alone, and that was one of them. I hope that they bear the full brunt of the law, as the dregs of society that they are. Utter scum.
I agree. the paparazzi should also be blamed, they are inconsiderate and when princess diana was dying they were too busy trying to make their profit to even lift a finger to help.all they had to do is call one simple number but they didn't and left her there for death. they are not just scum but they are even LOWWER THAN SCUM!
the queen had someone following them and thow a frag and blinded the driver and lost controole of the car they did hit another car before the big crash had happand

I've been looking through different pictures and I don't think the picture showing Princess Diana dead is real. There's a lot of differences between the pics. One shows the paramedics in orange and the other on yellow. Diana was wearing pants and the fake one clearly looks like she was wearing some kind of shorts or skirt ( you can see her bare leg) Anyways I just think is either or not Princess Diana, is very un respectful for her sons and family to post this kind of pictures. She's dead and god bless her soul. No one has the right to judge, only god!
as much as it hurts to see the photo's of the reckage and Diana's face almost distroyed she would not wont us to hold anger for her against the media.. She would want the world to remember her as she was.
